My Story
I would love to tell you how I came to help women over 50 like you.
I wasn't always a personal stylist and makeup artist (although I trained as a beautician inbetween nursing age 25). Before this time, I was a nurse wearing a navy blue uniform and black shoes every day. I never had to think about what to wear, except outside of work.
As a much younger nurse on a night shift break, I read an article about how we look our best when we wear colours that flatter our natural colouring and I was intrigued. In my early 30's I had a colour analysis which showed I looked best in warm, Spring colours.
Knowing these colours looked good on me gave me loads of confidence with how I looked.
Ever since that time I have worn those colours and been fascinated with the concept of everyone having colours that suit them best.
I held onto a dream that one day I would train as a colour consultant and show other women what an amazing difference colour can make to their look and self esteem.
I loved my nursing career but it had become increasingly stressful. At 54 I had a personal bereavement losing my only beloved sister (we shared a love for colour). I made the decision to leave at 55 and follow my dream!
Over 50, with a new career, I had to completely rethink my wardrobe; how did I want to look, what would work for my new lifestyle? Training in colour, style and makeup has helped me form a wardrobe I now love and that works for every aspect of my life.
If you are a woman over 50, whatever your story, this can be an exciting time in your life, a new chapter. Now is the perfect time to refresh your look and rediscover you.
I would love to help and inspire you in your wardrobe journey to look and feel amazing!
